Our Office

We maintain a clean, professional, client friendly office environment. We do everything we can to make our clients feel welcome and as comfortable as possible during treatment.

In Our Practice We Use the Following Methods of Treatment

• The Blend, which utilizes direct and alternating currents to simultaneously produce both a chemical and a heat reaction in the follicle.
• Thermolysis, which is the application of a single, alternating current to produce heat in the follicle.
• The application of one or the other method depends on the area being treated and the needs of the client.

Sterilization Procedures

Our office adheres to standards for sterilization as recommended by the State of California Consumer Affairs Board governing our profession, as well as the national standards established by The American Electrology Association in conjunction with The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We use: pre-sterilized, single use, disposable probes; disposable exam gloves (non-latex also used); dry heat sterilization for forceps; ultrasonic cleaning for all instruments; chemical disinfection for eye shields; fresh table paper for each client; and strict hand washing procedures.

We use the following types of probes in our practice: surgical steel, insulated and gold plated.
